I'm a game dev generalist with ~10 years experience in tech art, VFX, lowpoly/pixel styles, UI, development in Unity and Unreal, and everything in-between! My portfoio is heavily biased towards 3D lowpoly art since most of my tech art work is wrapped in NDAs, so I'm working on some personal projects now to showcase my other skills!
- Worked within Unreal Engine with materials, blueprints, and Niagara vfx
- Created 3D art assets, including animations, to be deployed in engine
- Helped ship assets for DLC releases
- Worked directly with Art Directors / Leads on project art vision, as well as with tech leads on developing game systems to help execute on said vision
- Worked with other tech artists / leads on optimisation across a variety of low and high-end systems
- Modelled, textured, rigged, and animated a wide range of 3D models, including characters and props
- Imported models into Unity and set up final prefabs for delivery
- Created unique materials for each asset and create custom shaders for effects like grass, water, dissolves / spawns, changeable colour for the main character etc.
- Create main player animations and set up versatile animator within Unity with smooth transitions / effects
- Edited provided + create new C# scripts for things like triggering player animations, spawning unique grass prefabs etc.
- Concepted and created 3D props
- Worked on art direction to bring the 2D visual aesthetic of the game to the 3D assets to ensure a consistent vision
- Demo assets in-engine with lighting examples
- Animated existing character designs, add to and modify them as needed
